Tradecraft VT is a licensed general contracting and custom woodworking business serving Chittenden County, Vermont. We handle residential work of all sizes, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, custom woodworking, home additions, new construction, and everything in between. We're not a large company. We don't try to be. Every project that comes through Tradecraft VT is personally managed from the first phone call to the final walkthrough. That's how we've always worked, and that's not changing.
The Founder
Tim Chila, Founder & Master Woodworker
Tim Chila founded Tradecraft VT on a straightforward belief: good craftsmanship and clear communication should come together, not trade off against each other. Tim has been building, remodeling, and crafting in Vermont for over 50 years. He started as a carpenter and never stopped working with his hands. Today he personally oversees every Tradecraft VT project, from the first site visit through the final walkthrough. He's the person you'll speak to when you call. He's the person who shows up. That's not something you can say about most contractors. Tradecraft VT holds Vermont Contractor Licence No. 173.0000644 and is fully insured on every project.
