Serving Huntington, Vermont

General Contractor in Huntington, Vermont

Huntington sits in the southeast corner of Chittenden County below Camel's Hump, a rural town of river valley, farms, and mountain land. I'm Tim Chila, with over 50 years of Vermont building and woodworking behind me.

What We Do

Rural Work in the Huntington River Valley

Huntington is genuinely rural. Fewer than two thousand people spread across thirty-eight square miles, with Camel's Hump, Vermont's third highest peak, standing over it and the Long Trail running across the ridge. The town runs along the Huntington River valley through Huntington Center and Hanksville, and much of it is farms, woods, and homes on real land.

Rural building has its own practical shape. Properties here run on wells and septic rather than municipal services. Outbuildings, barns, and sheds are part of most properties and often worth bringing back rather than replacing. Access matters, and so does the fact that if something goes wrong out here, the nearest help isn't around the corner.

That's exactly why the work should be done properly the first time. We look at a property carefully, tell you honestly what it needs, and give you a clear estimate before anything begins. Whether it's an old farmhouse, an outbuilding, or a newer home on land.
