Jericho has kept its character. The Old Red Mill still stands over the Browns River, Jericho Center still has a proper village green, and much of the town looks east toward Mount Mansfield. People move here for that and tend to stay, which shapes the kind of work we're asked to do.
The housing ranges from genuinely historic homes around the village to mid-century houses and newer builds out on the rural roads. Older Jericho homes come with the usual realities of age, original framing, past alterations, and detail worth preserving rather than tearing out. Newer ones are more often about adding space or finishing what was left undone.
A lot of projects here are about the view and the light, opening a room toward the mountain, adding a porch worth sitting on, putting windows where they should have gone in the first place. Whatever it is, you get an honest estimate before we begin.
