Serving Williston, Vermont

General Contractor in Williston, Vermont

Williston has grown faster than almost anywhere in Chittenden County, and most of its homes are young enough that the work here is about adding, finishing, and personalising rather than fixing what's failing. I'm Tim Chila, and I've been building in Vermont for over 50 years.

What We Do

Building On and Finishing Williston Homes

Most of Williston's housing went up from the 1990s onward, out through the subdivisions past Taft Corners and along the roads that were farmland a generation ago. That changes what people call us for. These aren't houses with a century of hidden problems, they're houses that were built to a builder's plan rather than to the family living in them.

So the work here is mostly adding and improving: finishing the basement that was left as a shell, adding the room the family has outgrown the house without, replacing builder-grade cabinets with something actually made for the space. A newer home gives you a solid starting point, which means the money goes into the finish work instead of into fixing what's behind the walls.

Williston also still has real land, so ground-up builds are on the table here in a way they aren't in the denser parts of the county. Whatever the project, you get an open-book estimate before we start and one person accountable for the whole thing.

Yes. Williston still has buildable land, and we manage ground-up construction from site prep and permits through to handover.
Yes, and it's one of the biggest changes you can make. We build custom cabinetry by hand to fit your kitchen exactly rather than to a catalogue size.
