Site Preparation
Clearing, grading, and preparing the land so the build starts on solid, properly drained ground , the groundwork that everything else depends on.
Serving Chittenden County, Vermont
Turning raw land into a finished, functional space takes more than tools , it takes coordination, the right sequence, and someone who knows Vermont's permitting inside out. I'm Tim Chila, and I've managed builds across Chittenden County for over 50 years.
What We Do
New construction is a different animal from a remodel. You're starting with nothing but a site, which means the order of operations matters enormously , get the early stages wrong and everything downstream pays for it. Site prep, foundation, framing, systems, finishes: each has to happen in the right sequence, with the right inspections, at the right time.
Vermont's permitting and site conditions add their own demands. Drainage, frost depth, setbacks, septic and well considerations on rural lots , these aren't afterthoughts, they're decisions that shape the whole build. After fifty years working in this state, we know what to ask before the first machine arrives on site.
We manage every moving part of the build and keep it on schedule and on budget, with one person accountable for all of it. You get an open-book estimate up front and honest updates the whole way through.
